Coming SOON!: -  The Beggar’s Theatre All workshops are running well.  We have joined partnership with St. James’ School to pilot a new weekly group of KS1 drama.  This is going very well indeed and hope to open this up the other schools in September. We had a brilliant Photoshoot with Jenna Carpenter recently.  Pictures are amazing and if you would like to buy one of your child(children) then please contact me and I will speak with Jenna. We are currently enjoying working on ideas and exploring new projects without the stress of performance.  Having said that, we will now be working towards the Summer Arts Festival in September.  This year we are inviting the Primary schools to get involved with the Arts Festival and hope that they will be performing on Friday 24th, Saturday 25th will be all day performances and refreshments and a Lantern Procession through town led by the fantastic Rural Edge Drummers (REDs) in the evening.  Lantern making workshops will be coming up very soon. If you would like to get involved with our many varied workshops and regular sessions just pop along!  We are always happy to see new faces.  If you are interested in the Theatre and would like to join us in running The Beggar’s then please give us a buzz!  The Beggar’s Theatre is in the process of putting together our very own programme of events.  Please keep your eye on our website and face book page.  http://www.beggarstheatre.co.uk  If you join our mailing list then you will be sent priority information on tickets and future events. AGM THURSDAY 27TH MAY 7pm @ THE BEGGAR’S THEATRE - ALL WELCOME We have a very busy time ahead and are hoping to continue to grow in our groups and members.  If there is another art form you would like to get involved with and we don’t currently run, please let us know!!!
